How to find the nearest public toilet
If you let your browser share your location, the map opens where you are. If not, tap «Use my location» under «Near me», or move the map yourself. The list below the map starts with the five public toilets closest to its centre; tap «Show more» for the next ones. Most toilets don't have a name, so they're listed as «Public toilet», with the distance.
Tap one to make it your destination. Roadme then works out the drive there from your starting point: the distance and, on a longer trip, the fuel, tolls, bridges and ferries as well.
Public toilets by country
According to OpenStreetMap, as of (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL):
| Country | Public toilets |
|---|---|
| Norway | 3,481 |
| Sweden | 5,934 |
| Denmark | 4,085 |
| Finland | 3,698 |
The map leaves out toilets marked in OpenStreetMap as private or for customers only.
On a long drive
Planning where to stop for a break? Enter your start and destination above, and the map shows your route. Move the map to any stretch of it and look under «Near me» for toilets, fuel stations and rest stops there. The calculator adds up the cost of the whole drive: fuel at each country's prices, every toll station and bridge, and every ferry we have a fare for. For places worth a stop, see sights near you; to fill up, use the Gas stations near me map.
