Fast chargers on the map
Roadme's map shows every fast-charging station of 50 kW and above in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, refreshed every night from NOBIL, the national charger register run by Enova (licence CC BY 4.0):
| Country | Fast chargers (50 kW+) |
|---|---|
| Norway | 1,923 |
| Sweden | 2,233 |
| Denmark | 877 |
| Finland | 1,288 |
| Total | 6,321 |
Behind those stations are 44,252 charge points, and 4,910 of the 6,321 stations — about 78% — deliver 150 kW or more, fast enough to add most of a battery on a coffee break.
Tap «show me on the map» and Roadme finds your position and shows the nearest stations, with power, number of charge points, connector types (CCS, CHAdeMO, Type 2) and distance. Tap a station for «route here», or search a different area without sharing your position.
Who runs the chargers
This is behind a lot of the searches on this page — people looking for their network, because that's where the app and the payment card live. Stations of 50 kW and above by network and country, Norway’s biggest first:
| Operator | Norway | Sweden | Denmark | Finland |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Recharge | 301 | 161 | 5 | 119 |
| Eviny | 283 | 128 | – | – |
| Kople | 282 | – | – | – |
| Mer | 244 | 91 | – | – |
| Tesla | 171 | 92 | 43 | 48 |
| Circle K | 150 | 211 | – | – |
| Uno-X | 111 | – | 39 | – |
| IONITY | 53 | 54 | – | 27 |
| Lade i Norge | 36 | – | – | – |
| St1 | 31 | 47 | – | 35 |
Looking for one network? Tap its name in the row at the top of the map and only its chargers stay — pick several if you carry more than one card, or «All networks» to see them all again. Every station also names its network when you tap it. Whether a charger is free right now is in the operator’s own app. A page with its own map for each of the biggest networks, in Norwegian: Mer, Eviny, Kople, IONITY, Tesla, Uno-X; and in Swedish: OKQ8, Circle K, Mer, IONITY, E.ON.
What charging costs
Public fast charging is not free, and the price is set by the operator, station by station — there is no public price list to read the way there is for road tolls. Roadme's calculator starts from the median price for the largest operators at 50 kW and above, from the Eleport price report of February 2026:
| Country | Currency | Median price | Per 100 km* |
|---|---|---|---|
| Norway | NOK | 5.50 kr | 99 kr |
| Sweden | SEK | 5.97 kr | 107 kr |
| Denmark | DKK | 3.66 kr | 66 kr |
| Finland | EUR | 0.38 € | 6.84 € |
*At the calculator's default consumption of 18 kWh per 100 km.
Charging at home is usually cheaper than a fast charger on the road. Once you know your own price — home or otherwise — type it into the calculator's Price field and it uses that for the whole drive; you can switch the display currency there too.
Plan charging stops for a road trip
The road trip cost calculator prices a drive and, for an electric car, plans where you charge. Pick Electric, set a start and a destination, then say how far you go before the first charge, how often after that, how much range you want left on arrival, the minimum charger power and the connector. It lays out stops at fast chargers of 50 kW and above along the route, with a rough time for each one, and prices the whole drive.
In Norway specifically, electric cars pay less at many toll stations and less on many ferries, and the calculator applies each station's and each ferry's own EV rate. On Oslo–Bergen, for example, that brings the toll bill to 233 kr; on Bergen–Stavanger it's 86 kr in tolls and 270 kr on the ferries. The exact saving depends on the toll station and the ferry connection, so check the Norway toll calculator and ferries for a specific route.
Example drives, calculated on the road trip cost calculator for a car under 6 metres, no toll tag or bridge agreement, leaving Tuesday 29 September 2026 at about 09:00, charging at the fast-charging median above and petrol at the calculator's default. All amounts in NOK; switch currency in the calculator itself.
| Drive | km | Electricity | Tolls | Ferries | EV total | Petrol total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Oslo–Bergen | 478 | 474 kr | 233 kr | 0 kr | 707 kr | 1,157 kr |
| Oslo–Trondheim | 486 | 481 kr | 323 kr | 0 kr | 804 kr | 1,251 kr |
| Bergen–Stavanger | 209 | 176 kr | 86 kr | 270 kr | 532 kr | 784 kr |
| Trondheim–Bodø | 701 | 694 kr | 223 kr | 0 kr | 917 kr | 1,537 kr |
| Stockholm–Göteborg | 470 | 484 kr | 28 kr | 0 kr | 511 kr | 635 kr |
| København–Aarhus | 305 | 290 kr | 339 kr | 0 kr | 629 kr | 972 kr |
| Helsinki–Rovaniemi | 832 | 614 kr | 0 kr | 0 kr | 614 kr | 1,560 kr |
| Malmö–Oslo | 560 | 572 kr | 64 kr | 0 kr | 636 kr | 869 kr |
An electric car costs less on every one of these drives, from about a fifth less on Stockholm–Göteborg to well over half less on Helsinki–Rovaniemi, where Finland's lack of tolls or ferries leaves nothing but electricity on the bill. Tolls and ferries can still outweigh the electricity itself: on Bergen–Stavanger the ferries alone cost more than the charging, and on København–Aarhus the toll is the single largest item on the trip.

Questions and answers
Is EV charging free in Norway?
No. Public fast charging is priced by each operator, and Roadme's calculator uses the median price for the country: 5.50 kr per kWh in Norway. You can enter your own price once you know it, for example for charging at home.
How much does fast charging cost in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland?
The median public fast-charging price is 5.50 kr per kWh in Norway, 5.97 kr in Sweden, 3.66 kr in Denmark and 0.38 € in Finland. At the default consumption of 18 kWh per 100 km, that works out to about 99 kr, 107 kr, 66 kr and 6.84 € per 100 km. You can enter your own price and consumption in the calculator.
How do I find an EV charger near me?
Tap «show me on the map» at the top of this page. Roadme finds your position and shows the nearest fast chargers of 50 kW and above, with power, number of charge points, connector types and distance. Tap a station for «route here».
Can I plan charging stops for a road trip?
Yes. Pick «Electric», set a start and a destination, then say how far you go between charges, how much range you want left on arrival, the minimum charger power and the connector. The calculator lays out charging stops at fast chargers of 50 kW and above along the route, with a rough time for each stop, and prices the whole drive.
Do electric cars pay tolls and ferries in Norway?
Often less than a petrol car. The calculator uses each toll station's and each ferry's EV rate: on Oslo–Bergen an electric car pays 233 kr in tolls, and on Bergen–Stavanger 86 kr in tolls and 270 kr on the ferries. The rate depends on the toll station and the ferry connection, so the saving varies by route.
Which companies run the most fast chargers?
In Norway: Recharge with 301 stations, Eviny 283, Kople 282, Mer 244, Tesla 171, Circle K 150, Uno-X 111 and IONITY 53. Roadme's map shows every operator, nearest first — it is not sorted or filtered by operator, so use the row's own name if you're looking for a particular network. Circle K's fuel stations have a map of their own: Circle K near me.
Does the map show whether a charger is free right now?
No. It shows where a station is and what it can deliver, not whether a charger is occupied right now. Check live availability in the operator's own app.
Is the map free to use?
Yes. Free to use, no account needed.
